  • Ellen Wong who plays Carrie's best friend Mouse on the show, said that when asked who her favorite character on "Sex and the City" is, she feels torn. "I feel like throughout the whole series you can always find a little bit of yourself in every one of them, and you can relate to them, and I think that's why the series was so popular and so good, and I'm hoping that people are going to be able to relate to all the characters on this show too."

  • Stefania Owen, who plays Doritt (Carrie's sister on "The Carrie Diaries") loves being able to portray the sisterly relationship between the two girls on the show. Owen added that she is the "emo" of the show, so she has dark makeup to play the part. "I have naturally curly hair but they do a bit more curling. Maybe I might have like a blue streak and a pink streak also while the show goes on," she said.

I went to a Bar Mitzvah this summer and all of the girls I actually took pictures of looked like they were wearing '80s kind of dresses. It all comes back, or it never leaves." She also added that both the new Carrie and the old Carrie will have a quirky, curious, yet vulnerable personality.
