Model Karlie Kloss (who attended with designer duo Cushnie et Ochs) looked stunning with a sleek, side-parted hairstyle, dewy skin and black liner.

Actress Ashley Madekwe was on the arm of Leisure Society designer and CFDA Designer Shane Baum, and chose to coordinate her bright dress with a bronze makeup look, tousled waves and a neutral lip.

Actress Sofia Vergara (who certainly knows how to dress for her curves) wore a stunning green gown with gorgeous soft waves created by hairstylist Jen Atkin.

Model Jessica Stam (who attended with designer Rebecca Minkoff) complemented her bright yellow dress by jazzing up her short pixie crop, and we love it! She needed minimal makeup for her flawless skin, adding just a hint of eyeliner to complement the bold accessories.

Elizabeth Olsen and sister Mary-Kate showed off opposite beauty looks, with Elizabeth going for a red lip and tousled locks and Mary-Kate opting for a disheveled top knot and dewy skin.

Rose Byrne complemented her flawless skin with a matte red lip and a touch of grey shadow in her crease (and of course her perfectly groomed brows).

Model Jessica Hart showed off her dewy skin, glossy pink lips and a side-swept blowout.

Nicole Richie went for a sleek updo, flawless black liquid liner and a perfectly applied red lip.

Actress Hailee Steinfeld looked young and innocent with straight and sleek hair (note the middle part), flushed cheeks and a coral lip.

Actress Kerry Washington opted for a sleek chignon, flawless skin and a barely-there pink lip to offset her bright yellow dress.

Model Miranda Kerr also chose to pull her hair off her face, finishing the look with a berry lip and a soft purple shadow.

Rooney Mara pulled her hair back into a tight, low chignon and wore a deep red lipstick, which has become a classic beauty look for the actress.

Actress Jessica Chastain pulled her hair back into a sleek bun and finished the look with a soft red lip and silver eyeshadow.

The CFDA Awards took place last night, better known as the fashion industry’s Oscar awards. This is the time of year that the fashion industry celebrates the talent that it has, and this year big names were involved, and great designers were celebrated. Trust us, we’re not exaggerating here either – Hilary Clinton was on hand to award Oscar de la Renta his Founders Award and Vera Wang received her Geoffery Beane Lifetime Achievement award from Ralph Lauren. It was a big night for all those involved, and it gave us yet another excuse to see some of the fashion and movie industry greats dress up and walk the red carpet.

We saw plenty of matte red lips, sleek chignons and tousled waves last night to give us hair and makeup inspiration for weeks (or months) and could hardly pick a favorite. We’re still deciding between Karlie Kloss’ perfect dewy skin, Jessica Stam’s amazing pixie style and Nicole Richie’s everything. Let us know who you think was best of the night in the comments below!
