Bringing back a timeless decade with timeless colors, NCLA released it’s Summer of ’69 collection earlier this week and it was well worth the wait. Three nail lacquers and three nail wraps, these psychedelic colors and patterns were inspired by a generation that re-defined music, pushed fashion forward and breathed an essence of freedom.

The collection contains a  beautiful, bright coral called “I’m With The Band,” a rich fluorescent berry called “Hello, I Love You,” and a violet lavender called “Eight Days A Week” for $16 a bottle.

To round the collection off, the three nail wraps were designed to pick up the color schemes of the lacquers and include a unique mix of old school design elements. “Hi-Fi Stereo,” “Mixtape: Rewind,” and “Psychedelic Vinyl” each incorporate patterns that evoke a sense of the 60s for only $16 each.

Lucky for you, NCLA has offered to give away the entire Summer of ’69 to one lucky Beauty High reader! To enter, tell us one of your favorite things about the ’60s in the comments section below!

**Note: Winners must be 18 or older and live in the US. The winner will be randomly selected and notified by email by 4/11.

  18. Talia Cuccia says:

My favorite thing about the 1960′s has to be the bell-bottom trend. It’s a style that’s fashionable and can be easily paired with chunky wedges, bold jewelry pieces and chiffon, fitted blouses.

  19. Augusta says:

Dying for “Mix Tape Rewind” nail wraps!

  20. Stefanie Gladden says:

my favorite thing about the 60′s is definitely the music! they had some great artists back then, makes our music sound crappy compared to them!!

  22. Nixonstarr says:

An intense love of nature, passion for music, desire for reflection,
questioning authority and government and a new found independence.

I am obsessed with both fashion and music from the 1960′s!

I love the fashion, the sound of music, the Beatles, space exploration, food items and a newly expansive array of breakfast cereals… but my favorite thing formm the 1960s are the civil rights.

  28. Felicia Cohen says:

Is Woodstock too cliche of an answer? I wish I was there!

  29. B Clay1 says:

my fave thing about the 60s is the beatles! of course i wasn’t alive yet, but what a way to familiarze yourself with the culture they created! and their music is so undated, meaning it’s still good today.

  30. ELizabethW says:

    The music!

  31. AngelaChilcott says:

Generally, the sixties are a fantastic era to  revel in.  The political and social movements of the time lead to three of my favorite things: folky-rock music, the mini skirt, and fierce, dramatic eye makeup.  Thank goodness for the sixties!
