Blame it on back-to-school shopping or on our undying appreciation for Blair Waldorf’s style, but lately we’ve been scoping out ways to include headbands into our hairstyles. Back in elementary school, we used the accessory more out of necessity, to keep our hair under control, or when we were trying to grow out our bangs. As it turns out, we weren’t being nearly as creative as we could’ve been!

Thanks to celebrity inspiration and some experimenting, we now realize that there actually tons of ways to rock a headband. Plus, this underrated accessory can actually give your ‘do the “It” factor it was missing. Look to the actresses above (and our headband suggestions) for some new styling ideas.
