Jessica Chastain has perfected this classic Old Hollywood side-swept wave (created by hairstylist Renato Campora), and paired with a matte red lip and thick cat eye it shows off her Armani Prive gown.

Amy Adams' low tousled chignon and subtle smokey eye was the perfect pairing for her ruffled Oscar de la Renta gown.

Zoe Saldana's gorgeous Alexis Mabille gown was completed with a deep smokey eye, neutral lip and flowing side-parted hair.

Makeup artist Carola Gonazalez used Lancome on Kerry Washington, inspired by her colorful Miu Miu gown, choosing to focus the look on her eyes.

Olivia Munn showed off a gorgeous side-parted updo, bold red lips and a cat eye to go with her red and gold Marchesa gown.

Reese Witherspoon's side-parted Old Hollywood waves were one of our favorite hairstyles of the night. Paired with her soft smokey eyes and flushed cheeks, the entire beauty look was the perfect complement to her bold Louis Vuitton dress.

Jennifer Lawrence's hairstylist Mark Townsend created a tousled, low chignon to pair with her deep smokey eyes and pale pink lips. Lawrence's nails were painted with CoverGirl's Outlast Nail Gloss in Forever Frosted (an opaque nude).

Charlize Theron shows off her grown-out crop paired with a shimmering bronze eye and glossy pink lip.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum's high-volume updo, glossy pink lips and thickly-lined eyes were a fun way to dress up her baby bump.

While we weren't exactly head over heels for Anne Hathaway's Prada gown, her grown-out pixie cut and soft, subtle cat eye were on-point, especially since she chose to pair with a sheer, pink lip.

Catherine Zeta-Jones also went with soft curls, but chose a middle part. We loved her bronze smokey eyes and neutral lips.

Naomi Watts' perfectly tousled updo (created by hairstylist Danilo) was the just the offset she needed for her sequin and skin-tight Armani gown.

Amanda Seyfried chose a bold color on her eyes for the Oscars, but given the fact that her dress was so nude, she needed it – and we liked the daring, extended purple smokey eye.

Stacy Keibler's faux bob had just the right amount of wave (keeping on trend with that nod to Old Hollywood) and her soft smokey eye worked well with her shimmering dress.

Samantha Barks of "Les Miserables"knows how to do the tousled updo just right. Plus, by pairing it with a smokey eye (and a whole lot of cleavage) she wowed on the red carpet.

With awards season coming to a close tonight with arguably the best awards show, the Oscars, bringing us out in style, we were wowed by the hair and makeup looks on the red carpet. This entire awards season has brought us a trend of “the classics” with plenty of Old Hollywood side-swept curls and bold red lips walking down the red carpet. But traditionally celebs bring out all the stops for the Oscars, and tonight we saw a mix of classic Old Hollywood looks as well as an array of gorgeous tousled updos and deep smokey eyes.

We rounded up our favorite looks of the night in the slideshow above as well as some insight on who was wearing what (and what products were used to achieve the looks). Let us know if you agree with our picks – and who your favorite of the night was – in the comments below!
